Fiction: Ménage à Trois Avant-garde

Happy Valentine’s Day FridayFlashers!

I’m excited to announce my first horror flash! It is published at Flashes in the Dark.  This story is a creepy paranormal romance with humorous twists.

I would consider my flash rated PG-17 or maybe even R for the highly sensitive.

Here it is:

Ménage à Trois Avant-garde

This story is also be featured in the Deadly Love, Be Mine Valentine’s Day Anthology published Sunday, February 14, 2010, by Jim Wisneski at Soft Whispers. Please check out the free anthology which includes several great stories and poems by authors you probably know.

  1. Great writing, can’t wait to see more.

    1. Jodi,

Thanks for stopping by and reading!

  2. Excellent story. At least his soul got to escape to the journal with his lovely Jenny before too much of him was scooped, scraped, and sponged up.

  3. Great fun! My kind of Valentine’s story, happy ending for everyone… well, maybe not Jack… Like the heart diagram. Took me a minute to turn off the annoying audio on Flashes in the Dark site… clashes with my music. Then the story was most enjoyable.

    1. Thanks David! I’m glad you liked my story & graphic.

  4. Congratulations – That’s wonderful!!!!!! 🙂

  5. Great concept brilliantly executed! More please!

    1. Thanks Karen, that means a lot!

  6. Thanks you awesome trio of women! I don’t know where this story came from and don’t know what it is going, but thanks for the support for my first horror story in such a foreign genre to me.

I am still blaming Jezebel for that weird massage on spa day. I feel another horror story coming on, I hear whispering in my ear, no,it is inside my head, I’m not sure, maybe Mr. Fluffy is responsible.

  7. Anne, please do more horror! That was a great story. I felt poor Jack’s pain so vividly.
    Super duper!

  8. Awesome horror story, Anne! It’s always more polite to share. 🙂

  9. And you thought you couldn’t write horror…
    Delightfully unique and wicked story!
